This is done using methods like discussion and listening, employed during one-on-one sessions with clients in a confidential, compassionate, and safe setting.
By discussing and expressing your feelings through individual therapy, you can alter your mindset, kick bad habits, or change destructive behaviours.
One of our counsellors will ask you a series of questions related to how you’re feeling about your life, and the events and challenges therein, in an attempt to better understand your problems and how you feel about them.
This information can then be used to help you deal with whatever’s bothering you by allowing you and your counsellor to work together to devise more constructive coping methods.
