Who Am I?

Welcome! I was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I come from two cultures, with my father’s side being Punjabi-Canadian and my mother’s side being German-Mennonite Canadian.

Coming from a bi-cultural background, I have great respect and appreciation for cultural diversity, and I take a culturally sensitive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to counselling.

That being said, it is important to me to learn what is unique about you and to understand your values, interests, and strengths.

Through my own counselling journey, I understand and appreciate what it feels like to be in the client’s chair, and I prioritize building a therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, safety, collaboration, respect, and care.

I take a curious, empathic, and flexible approach to working with clients and I always tailor my treatment to whatever will work best for your personal needs, goals, and preferences. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your lived experiences and your stories.
