Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Jamie, a dedicated student pursuing a Holistic Nutritional Counselling diploma at Rhodes Wellness College and an intern at Talkonline Counselling. Intrigued by the intricate interplay between our bodies, food choices, and environmental factors, I seek to deepen my understanding of holistic wellness.

With a background in community service, I have supported individuals with diverse abilities and hospice clients. Personally acquainted with grief and loss, I have extensively explored coping mechanisms surrounding the loss of a child, loss of pets, and loss as a result of addictions. I understands the isolating nature of such experiences and emphasizes the pivotal role nutrition plays in the healing process.

What Can I Do For You?

I recognize the importance of addressing barriers and eliminating stigmas surrounding mental health and nutrition. Collaborating with clients, I delve into the multifaceted factors contributing to disordered eating, such as stress, hormonal imbalances, injuries, and vitamin deficiencies.

My primary goal is to provide tailored nutritional support that addresses each client’s unique circumstances, body, and mind. I believe in the complementary nature of nutritional counselling with other therapeutic approaches, recognizing its significance in fostering holistic wellness.
