Coaching is typically done over a short period of time, focuses on the present and the future, and is meant to keep you accountable and offer guidance to help you reach your goals.

Counselling, on the other hand, tends to take place over a longer period of time, focuses on events from the past, and healing the emotional pain they may have caused, so you can discover the root cause of these issues and overcome mental health challenges.

Sessions with our founder, Josipa Katinic, cost $250 plus tax for 50 minutes.

For all our other counsellors, the cost is $160 plus tax for a 50-minute session.

While not every plan will cover our services, your benefits plan may include coverage for Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs), or Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCCs).

We currently have two ICBC-approved counsellors on our team (Gerardo and Josipa).

While you can communicate with our counsellors via email, please keep in mind that email is not a secure form of communication.

That being said, if you do choose to communicate with us through email, it’s best if you only use it for general inquiries and scheduling purposes, as these messages are accessible by the system administrators of both our and your Internet service providers.

If you’d like more information, please speak with your counsellor.

While you’re free to voluntarily follow us on social media, we will not accept friend requests or follow any of our current or former clients on social media.

We refrain from connecting with clients on social media sites because this has the potential to jeopardize your confidentiality, and the privacy of all those involved.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you.

That being said, a late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in your therapist’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.

Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

In any professional relationship, payment for services is an important issue.

This is especially important in therapy, where clarity of relationships and responsibilities is one goal of treatment. Your responsible manner in paying for services demonstrates your seriousness, sincerity, and commitment to treatment.

Payment of fees is due at the time of your session if paid by credit card, or at the time of booking if paid by cash. In any case, a credit card is required on file.
